Petrochemical Industries Company Kuwait (the “PIC”) recognizes the importance of protecting your personal information. We understand that our relationship is strongly built on trust and the need to safeguard sensitive information that you have entrusted to us. This is why, as an organization, we are committed to the Petrochemical Industries Company Privacy Policy for users, which is as follows:

Any personal information that we seek from you would only be aimed at providing superior service and would always be kept confidential. Keeping User information secure and using it only as our Users would want us to, is a top priority for all of us at the PIC. We may however be required to disclose your personal information to Government, Judicial bodies and/or our regulators to whom the PIC is under an obligation to make disclosures under the requirements of any applicable law binding on the PIC or any of its branches, when the situation so demands.

• Access to User information is permitted to those employees who have a valid business reason for knowing such information.
• We will not reveal User information to any external organization or third parties unless we have previously informed the User in disclosures or agreements, and have been expressly authorized by the User, or are required by applicable law.
• We will always maintain control over the confidentiality of our User information. User information shall not be shared with any external organization unless the same is necessary to enable PIC to provide you services or to support compiling your application transactions. These external organizations are not permitted to access, use or retain any User information unless the User has explicitly expressed interest in their products or services.
• Whenever we hire other organizations to provide support services, we will procure their conformity to our privacy standards and Non-Disclosure Private Insensitive Data Agreement (NDA). Constant and regular audits will be conducted to ensure their compliance.
• We will continuously assess ourselves to ensure that User privacy is at all times maintained and respected.
• Failure to comply with the instructions for the use of software, information systems and confidentiality and information security of the PIC and the above will lead to accountability and referral of the employee to the concerned authorities of the PIC to take action in accordance to the rules and regulations and laws.

We want to inform you that whenever you use our PIC mobile application, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (IP) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. While we have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control and while we have appropriate firewalls in place to block unauthorized access to any user data stored on our servers, we shall not be responsible for any loss, misuse, alteration, or unauthorized access to any such information or data.

Our app complies with Apple App Store requirements, including App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and user data privacy obligations. If our app collects data for Private Insensitive Data analytics, advertising, or other tracking purposes, users will be prompted for explicit consent. Users may also access, correct, or delete their data by contacting us at privacy@pic.com.kw.
