Youth Empowerment Leaders

Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) is committed to empowering its youth by providing the professional skills necessary for career advancement. As part of this commitment, PIC established the Youth Empowerment Leaders (YEL) Committee in February 2020, becoming the first company in the oil sector to do so. This initiative aligns with the values of KPC, the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Council, and the company’s mission and vision, while supporting the 2040 vision for building capabilities.


Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association Youth Council

PIC is dedicated to supporting its youth by providing them with opportunities to engage on a global platform and contribute to the growth of the petrochemical industry. As part of this commitment, PIC encourages its young professionals to become active members of the GPCA Youth Council, which was established in 2021 to offer a space for young professionals within GPCA’s member companies to connect, learn, and share knowledge. By being part of the GPCA Youth Council, PIC’s youth are able to collaborate with peers from around the world, gaining valuable insights and contributing to the sustainable development of the industry.
