PIC Signed Memorandum of Understanding with Kuwait Municipality to study the establishment of a Plastic Waste Recycling Plant

PIC represented by Mr./ Mutlaq Rashed AlAzmi signed a memorandum of understanding with Municipality represented by Mr./Ahmad Abdullah AlManfouhi to study the establishment of a plastic waste recycling plant which will be the most important environmental project that can reduce the pollution and treat plastic waste by minimizing its risk and turning it into useful products.

The PIC CEO, Eng. Mutlaq Rashid Al-Azmi, stressed on the sustain cooperation and communication between PIC and Kuwait Municipality in different fields by launching mutual initiatives and activities to preserve the environment and contribute to community engagement. Besides, using technologies and industrial capabilities owned by PIC to solve the biggest problems that threaten wildlife and marine life .

Al-Azmi indicated that PIC cares about environment as its top priority based on its corporate social responsibility by matching the highest global health and environmental standards in their manufacturing, storage, and marketing operations. Moreover, the company launches many initiatives, and sponsors environmental activities such as beach cleaning, plastic recycling, reduction of carbon dioxide emissions released from its plants and other initiatives that preserve the environment.
