TKSC was incorporated in November 2004 under the laws of the State of Kuwait to implement the Styrene Project. TKSC’s production facilities shall comprise of a styrene plant with a capacity of 450,000 tonnes per annum. TKSC’s styrene plant will be located adjacent to the existing EQUATE complex. TKSC is expected to commence commercial operations in late 2008.

The Kuwait Aromatics Company (KARO) 57.5%
Dow Europe Holding (“DEH”)  (42.5%),

TKSC will be supplied with ethylene from TKOC and benzene from KARO. The production facilities of KARO will also be located at the Shuaiba Industrial Area.
