Our
Six
Sigma journey will have three generations.
Generation 1

It starts
with Generation 1. Senior Management drives the
initiative, goals and incentives are established, people
are trained, fast and tactical DMAIC projects are
excuted and successes are achieved.
Generation 2

In the
Generation 2, we have a sustainable implementation and
initiate complex and strategic projects linked directly
to company objectives.
We implement
Six Sigma Promotional Criteria and Career Development
programs, grow the number of people trained, involve all
businesses and functions, and create people networks.
Generation 3

In the third
generation, Six Sigma is delivering company strategy.
Every
innovation, improvement, and implementation is done
using Six Sigma. Every employee is highly skilled,
motivated and having fun - which is a competitive
advantage.
Employees at
this stage do not accept mediocrity – they expect the
best from each other. At this stage, we are a mature Six
Sigma organization and Six Sigma is “how we operate”.
To put it into
perspective, Toyota has been on this journey for over 60
years.
