The Cost of Upgrading Etna Plant to Raise its Production is 75 million Euros

1- The Italian Government afforded 50% of the mentioned sum in order to convert the plant to one of Europe's factories that is the least in terms of production cost, through using a manufacturing technology similar to the one used in Eco-polymers Company plants, Germany; which is the continuous polymerization technology instead of the old technology that consumes much energy. Eco-polymers company began to successfully produce Purified Terephthalate Acid (PTA), and the Poly-Ethylene Terephthalate (PET) from its modernized plants in Etna, Italy; that increased the company's production of Amorphous Polyethylene Terephthalate (APET)  from 113 to 175 thousand metric tons as well as its production of PET from 113 to 158 thousand tons metric.
