QURAIN POLYPROPYLENE

Qurain® is the registered trade name for plastic materials including Polypropylene produced and marketed by PIC Qurain®. Polypropylene is available in various grades in a melt flow rate range of 3.0 to 25.0 dg/min covering major film, injection molding and coarse & fine fiber markets. Base polymer of each Qurain® Polypropylene grade and its respective formulation is specifically designed for optimum processability and end product performance.

Qurain® Polypropylene homopolymer grades are listed below to guide you in your selection. Individual data sheets for each grade providing more detailed information on their properties are available upon request.

AVAILABILITY

Qurain® Polypropylene is available in polyethylene bags with a net weight of 25 kg each in a wrapped palletized form. It can also be provided in bulk by road bulk carriers to users accessible by road from Kuwait.

SAFETY

Polypropylene is practically non-toxic and under normal conditions of use it is non-hazardous. However, contact with product fires and heated vapors should be avoided. Adequate ventilation must be employed and exhaust hoods should be installed over processing machines. Material safety data sheets containing more detailed information are available from PIC. We urge you to read our product safety information and enforce good housekeeping in your plant.

STORAGE

Polypropylene must be stored in a dry shaded area at a constant temperature preferably below 40 C but not exceeding 48 C. Direct sunlight and heat should be avoided. Dust and moisture must be kept out.

FOOD APPROVAL

All Qurain® Polypropylene grades comply with the relevant directives of European Union and FDA regulations of USA for food contact usage. Detailed information on each grade is available upon request.
