ISO 27001:2005 Information Security Management System

Petrochemical Industries Company has implemented ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS under the ISO/IEC 27001 Standard, which sustain the organization with a structured approach to handling its operational impacts on the information security. Llyod's Register, for Information Technology Department and Associated Services, assessed PIC to the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System.

The certification process went through a three-steps process that includes Documentation Review, a Pre-assessment Audit, and a Final Audit. PIC has successfully completed the three-steps and certified to ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System.

The ISO/IEC 27001 standard represents an international consensus on good management practices with the aim of ensuring that the organizations consistently manage the operational impact on the information security that meet the ISMS requirements.

This certification is a result of having the best people, training programs, tools and administrative systems. This is an accomplishment that all of us at PIC are proud of as it ranking PIC in position to be World Class Competitor in providing the superior information technology services.

As we activated ISO/IEC 27001 standards, IT Department reinforced with a detailed and documented structure to follow within each respective section. These standards deliver an assurance to our customers that our service, commitments and performance are meaningful figures that they could rely upon!
