Aromatics Sections
I. Business Development
The Aromatics SBU Business Development
function would be responsible for identifying and evaluating
business opportunities in Aromatics and overseeing project
management activities.
Business Opportunity Identification
-
Analyze market
trends in Aromatics to identify potential new business
opportunities and strategic partnerships. Research new
geographic and product growth/investment opportunities
within the Aromatics market in line with PIC strategic
directions.

Review
submitted Aromatics market business ideas and follow-up
with idea originator to ensure completeness of required
information.

Perform preliminary
screening of business opportunities in coordination with
Aromatics Business Analysis & Planning and Corporate
Core Business Development and present to Inception
Committee.

Present
results of preliminary screening of business
opportunities to Executive Management and capture
feedback and recommendations on further investigation.
II.
Business Analysis & Planning
The Aromatics SBU Business Analysis &
Planning will oversee setting the SBU strategy, and
monitoring SBU performance.
Strategy and Business Plan
Development & Implementation Monitoring

Conduct SWOT
analysis in coordination with Business Development and
Marketing related to Aromatics business.

Formulate Aromatics SBU strategy in line
with PIC strategic guidelines and prepare yearly
strategic plans.

Monitor implementation of Aromatics SBU
strategic plans and initiatives
-
Ensure the alignment of Aromatics’
subsidiaries’ operational plans with SBU strategic plan.

Provide support to Aromatics SBU
Business Development in preliminary opportunity
screening.
III. Marketing
The Aromatics SBU Marketing function
would be responsible for sales and marketing strategy, and
execution, as well as customer service management.
Sales & Marketing Strategy and
Planning
-
Develop Aromatics SBU sales & marketing
strategy within the overall PIC strategy.

Develop yearly Aromatics SBU sales &
marketing plans (including budget requirements, and
sales forecasts).

Provide input into PIC overall strategic
and budget planning processes to relevant stakeholders
(as defined by management processes) .
