PSM committee should meet once a month at least or when required to follow up the development of PSM system, progress of the PSM objectives, progress on implementing of the PHA recommendations and safety performance. The committee is responsible to establish PSM audit plan and to follow up the corrective actions of the internal & external audits. The committee is responsible to ensure that the required resources are available to ensure the continuous improvement of PSM system. The deficiencies in the program should be highlighted and corrected.

The committee is responsible to ensure that adequate training is provided to the concerned employees and contractor on PSM system.
